How to get there
New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport is located just off National Highway 8, which leads from Delhi to Mumbai. Follow the highway southwards from the city centre and the airport is clearly signposted.
Delhi Metro’s (delhimetrorail.com) recently extended Orange line connects with the New Delhi Railway Station and via Feeder Bus with Delhi Aerocity Station.
Delhi Transport Corporation (dtc.nic.in) runs shuttle services at a regular interval (every 30 minutes) connecting the airport to the central parts of Delhi including Connaught Place and the Interstate Bus Terminal.
Regular bus services are available from inter-state bus terminals in the city. The services are extended to all the northern states and the neighbouring areas of Delhi.
The Delhi International Airport cooperates with three Cab operators (Mega Cabs, Easy Cabs and Meru Cabs). Taxi stands are located at Terminals 1 and 3.
Short- and long-term car parking is available at each terminal. The large multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 can house more than 4,300 cars. The car park at Terminal 1 is just 100m (109 yards) from the terminal complex.
