Currency exchange kiosks and ATMs are located in the central hall (known as Le Square) between Terminals 1 and 2 and throughout the airport. Wi-Fi Internet is accessible in all public areas.


Numerous restaurants, bars and cafés are located in Terminals 1 and 2 and in the central hall (Le Square).


Shops at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport include a newsagent, bookstore, toy retailer, jewelers, clothes outlet and a store selling regional produce. There are duty-free outlets in Terminals 1 and 2.


A 24-hour medical service is located on level 0 in the Bâtiment Arc. There is also an interfaith chapel in the central hall on level 1. Mother and baby rooms are situated in all terminals. Showers are also available.

The Salon Confluence (lounge) in Terminal 1, Hall B, Level 1 of Lyon Airport is open to people traveling within the Schengen zone, Travelers departing the Schengen zone are welcome to wait in the Salon Mont Blanc (lounge) in Terminal 1, Hall B, Level 2.     Among the in-terminal facilities are telephone kiosks and toilets that are accessible to wheelchair users. Staff members are on hand to assist passengers within the terminals.

    Disabled passengers are advised to contact their airline directly for assistance with boarding prior to travel and to report to the check-in desk on arrival.

    There is a set-down point in front of Terminal 1 and reserved spaces in front of the train station in car park P6, as well as at the other short-term car parks P0, P1 and P2. A discount on parking charges is possible on presentation of a valid disabled badge to the car park information desk in the central hall.

    Public Transport

    Trams, buses, a four-line metro and two funiculars are operated by TCL ( Purchase tickets from drivers or at machines at the metro. Single fare tickets are sold in books of 10 and there are unlimited travel passes valid for two hours. Ticket machines only take coins and you’ll need to time stamp tickets when you board.


    Taxis are available in front of the two main train stations: Gare de la Part-Dieu and Gare de Perrache. You can also pick them up at designated areas around town. They can be ordered from Allo Taxi (tel: 04 7828 2323) and Taxis Lyonnaise (tel: 04 7826 8181).
