How to get there
Arriving by car
The expressway A111 will take you right to the airport. The A10 Berliner Ring expressway and A111 converge at Kreuz Oranienburg intersection. Coming from the south and Berlin city center, exit the A100 Berlin orbital expressway onto the A111.
Buses and trains
The TXL JetExpressBus is the fastest way to get to the city center. This line travels via Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central station with mainline rail services) to Alexanderplatz. The X9 JetExpressBus runs via Jungernheide station (S-Bahn overland trains and U-Bahn subway trains) to Zoologischer Garten S- and U-Bahn train station. The TXL Expressbus also provides a link to the city’s circular S-Bahn lines, at Beusselstraße station. For the U-Bahn subway network, take the X9 Expressbus to Jakob-Kaiser-Platz subway station. Taxis
Taxi ranks are located in the inner ring of Terminal A on a level with Gates 6 to 9 and also in front of Terminals C and E. Travel times into the city center is approx. half an hour.
Parking facilities
There are some 2500 parking spaces at Berlin-Tegel Airport. These are located in two parking garages (P1 and P2), on a short-stay parking lot (PK) and in P5, which offers ground-level parking and parking spaces in the multi-storey car park near Terminal C. Parking spaces for the disabled are available in the short-stay parking lot (PK) and the parking garages P2 and P5.
