How to get there
From central Oslo, follow the E6 trunk road (which runs through the city to Trondheim and the far north of Norway) north until Jessheim, where there is a dedicated exit and road. The airport is clearly signposted all the way from the city centre.
The Airport Express Train (Flytoget) (tel: 815 00777; www.flytoget.no), connects Oslo Airport to Oslo (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: Kr170 – tickets not purchased online in advance are subject to an additional NOK30 service fee), stopping at Oslo Central and various subway stations, and continuing on to Drammen. Trains depart from the station beneath the terminal building. All NSB (tel: 815 00888; www.nsb.no) inter-city and express trains on the Skien-Oslo-Lillehammer-Trondheim route also stop at Oslo Airport Gardermoen station. Trains run every 10 minutes during the week, and every 20 minutes on Saturdays.
The SAS Airport Bus (Flybussen) (tel: 2280 4971; www.flybussen.no) links Oslo Airport and Oslo Central Station (journey time: 45 minutes; fare: Kr125). There is also a night service to Oslo Bus Terminal.
Regular coach services connect Oslo Airport with various destinations in Norway. For regional bus routes, there is a bus station just south of the railway station, which is within walking distance.
A taxi information desk can be found in the arrivals hall, and the taxi rank is located outside Arrivals. The fare into central Oslo starts at around Kr750. Wheelchair-accessible taxis can be arranged through Oslo Taxis (tel: 2323 2323).
There is a multistorey car park (P10) with direct access to the terminal and an outdoor car park (P1) immediately adjacent to the terminal. The long-term outdoor ground level car park is divided into five areas (P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6), with free shuttle buses running regularly to/from the terminal building. Parking information is available from Europark Gardermoen (tel: 6481 1980).
