Driving Directions
From Addis Ababa city centre, head southeast along Bole Road/Airport Road and follow the signs to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
Taxi
A taxi desk located in the arrivals hall provides fixed tariffs for destinations in the city. However, some travellers report getting better deals by bargaining with yellow cab drivers outside.
Minibus
If you’re feeling brave you can take a minibus from Bole Dild minibus station, which is located under the flyover opposite the terminal. This will work out much cheaper than a taxi, but check what the locals are paying as tourists tend to be overcharged.
Shuttle
Most major hotels offer shuttle services to and from the airport.
Car Parking
There is a large car park just outside the terminals. This can be used by passengers requiring either short or long stays.
