The Aeroporto Station is located at Terminal 1. This station is on the Aeroporto – Saldanha line of the Lisbon Metro network. The journey into the city centre takes around 20 minutes. Please note: You must purchase the ‘7 Colinas’ / ‘Viva Viagem’ electronic travel card, which you can then top up with balance for your journeys and can be used both for the Metro and for the bus network.
Regular Carris buses (carris.transporteslisboa.pt)
operate to the city centre and to the Cais do Sodré railway station from outside Terminal 1.
There is also the Aerobus (aerobus.pt) which links the airport with the bus terminal Sete Rios and the stations Entrecampos, Cais do Sodré, Areeiro and Martim Moniz.
Metered taxis are available 24 hours a day; the taxi rank is situated outside Arrivals and Departures at Terminal 1. The journey time to central Lisbon is around 10-15 minutes.
Short-term car parks P1 and P2 have direct access to Terminal 1. P1 is located near the departures area and P2 is next to the arrivals area. P3 is a long-term outdoor car park and is a little further away from Terminal 1. These car parks are linked to both terminals via a free shuttle bus.
