Driving Directions
Salzburg Airport has its own motorway connection on the junction of the A1 and A10, to the west of the city centre. From the city centre, head west on the B1 (Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse), which leads to the airport.
Coming from the west, travellers should take the Salzburg West A1 exit and then take the airport exit shortly thereafter.
Arriving from the south, it’s best to follow the A10, turn onto the A1, and then choose the airport exit.
From the north, head southwest on the A1 and take the airport exit.
Bus
Public buses run regularly between Salzburg Airport and various destinations in the city; buses 2 and 27 run every 10/20 minutes between Salzburg’s main railway station and the airport; bus 10 runs every 10 minutes between the city centre and airport (journey time: 15 minutes; fare: €2.30). These services are operated by Obus SLB (tel: (0662) 4480 1500; www.salzburg-ag.at).
Taxi
A number of taxis, shuttle and ski bus services operate from the rank in front of the terminals, including Taxi Erlbacher (tel: (0) 3687 81915; www.taxi-erlbacher.at) and Taxi Jäger (tel: (0) 6453 8273; www.taxi-jaeger.at). The journey time to the city is around 15 to 20 minutes. Fares vary according to the provider.
Car Parking
There are two short-term car parks (P1 and P2) opposite the terminals. A further 1,920 spaces can be found in the long-stay multistorey car park, which is connected to Terminal 1 by a covered walkway.
