How to get there
It takes 15 to 30 minutes to drive from the centre of the city to Tunis Carthage International Airport, depending on traffic. From the city, follow the A1 until it intersects with the P9, which leads directly to the airport.
Local bus 35 runs to the city and Tunis Marine train station (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: around TND0.80).
Yellow metered taxis are available at the taxi rank outside the terminal. Other unregulated taxis should be avoided as they often overcharge, and it also wise to ignore touts. The journey time to Tunis is about 20 minutes and the average fare to the city centre is around TND5 (this rises by 50% after 2100).
A car park with 2,500 spaces is located just outside the main terminal, and there is space for an additional 500 vehicles outside Terminal 2.
