How to get there
The Airport Road runs directly southeast from Dubai city centre on the east side of The Creek (Al-Khor). From locations south of Dubai, cross Al-Khor at Al-Garhoud Bridge and drive north, then turn right at the intersection with Airport Road. Terminal 2 is situated to the north of Terminals 1 and 3, and is accessed from Al Towar Road and Rashidiya. The driving time from the city centre to the airport is around 10 minutes.
The Metro link (tel: 800 9090; www.rta.ae) runs frequently between the airport and Dubai city. Stations are located in Terminals 1 and 3. The journey time to the city is between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the destination.
A bus service (tel: 800 9090; www.rta.ae) runs to the city centre from stations opposite Terminals 1 and 2. Buses 4, 11, 15, 33 and 44 depart from Terminal 1, while bus 2 operates from Terminal 2. In addition, Dubai International Airport Buses provide air-conditioned transport into the city centre and more than 80 hotels.
Prepaid taxis can be booked 24 hours a day in the Terminal 1 Arrivals hall. The journey to the city takes 10 to 15 minutes.
Short- and long-term parking facilities are available 24 hours a day at Dubai International Airport. Short-term parking is located close to the terminals, while long-term areas are connected via a shuttle bus, which takes around five minutes to reach the terminals.
