A bank is located in the departures area of Terminal 1. Bureaux de change and ATMs can be found in the departures and arrivals areas of the terminal. ATMs are also available in Terminal 2.


There is a post office in the departures area of Terminal 1. Paid-for Wi-Fi internet via Boingo access is available throughout the terminals – although access is free for the first 30 minutes.


There is a wide range of restaurants, snack bars, cafés and fast-food outlets in the departures area at Terminal 1, including a sushi restaurant and Portuguese eateries. There are also a number of cafés/snack bars in the public concourses. There are two snack bars in Terminal 2.


There are many shops at Lisbon Portela Airport, including duty-free shopping in both terminals (for passengers leaving the EU). Shops in Terminal 1 offer Portuguese specialities such as port wine, cheeses and other regional foods, as well as designer clothes and confectionary. Terminal 2 has a number of newsagents.


A left-luggage facility is open daily on level 2 of car park P2. The lost property office (tel: 21 844 4530) is located within the police office in the main departures shopping area of Terminal 1 .


An insurance desk is located at the check-in area. Among the other facilities are baby care areas, a first aid room in the arrivals area, showers in the departures lounge, a vet service and a spa and massage area.

Conference & Business

The Icaro Auditorium (tel: 21 150 3922) houses a conference room for up to 90 delegates and a meeting room for up to 30 people. An additional six meeting rooms are available at the ABC Business Centre (tel: 21 150 3922), in the Terminal 1 departures area. Meeting space is also available at the new Tryp Hotel (tel: 21 842 5000; adjacent to Terminal 1.

Further meeting and conference facilities are available at the nearby Hotel Tivoli Oriente (Tel: 21 891 5100;, and at many other hotels throughout the city.

    There are ramps, lifts, specially adapted telephones and toilets for the disabled. Wheelchairs can be provided by airlines and airline staff can also help wheelchair passengers through customs and immigration: passengers should request any special assistance upon booking a ticket. Disabled car parking spaces are available.

    Transfer between Terminals

    Free shuttles run between the two terminals which are interlinked and can be reached on foot within the building. Terminal 1 is for international and domestic arrivals and departures, while Terminal 2 is solely for domestic departures.
