How to get there
Driving Directions
From the center of Baku, take the Airport Road to the northeast. This leads to the suburb of Bina and directly to the airport.
Bus
Buses operated by Aero Express (aeroexpress.az) connect Heydar Aliyev International Airport with the 28 May metro station and the Central Railway Station. The buses run 24 hours a day about every half hour. The ride takes about 30 minutes.
Taxi
Officially licensed taxis are available outside Terminal 1. The way to the taxi waiting area is marked with “Official Taxi” signs. Remember, though: It’s not customary to pick a cab yourself. “Taxi marshals,” uniformed employees of taxi companies, wait for passengers and assign them a car.
Car Parking
There are about 600 long-term and short-term parking spaces directly in front of the terminals. There are payment machines on-site, and they only accept cash (banknotes).
