How to get there
Driving Directions
From central Glasgow, take the M8 motorway westwards to Junction 28. Glasgow Airport is clearly signposted from this point.
Rail
The Gilmour Street Railway Station in Paisley is around 1.6km (1 mile) from Glasgow Airport and is connected by the McGill’s 757 bus service. The First Glasgow Airport Express service 500 also connects to the airport from Glasgow Queen Street and from Glasgow Central Train Stations.
Bus
Most buses connect through Buchanan Bus Station in the city centre where connecting services from all over the country arrive, making it really easy to get to the airport from other parts of Scotland. The First Glasgow Airport Express service 500 is Glasgow Airport’s official bus service connecting the airport and the city centre in just 15 minutes.
Taxi
Metered taxis are available 24 hours a day. The taxi rank is immediately outside the terminal building. The journey time to the city center is generally 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Car Parking
Short-stay, long-stay and business parking is available at Glasgow Airport. The short-stay car parks are within walking distance of the terminals, while there are regular transfer coaches to the terminal from the long-stay car park.
