How to get there
The airport is connected to southwest England’s highway network via the M5, M4 and A4. From downtown Bristol, there are plenty of signs indicating the way to the airport.
Take the Airport Flyer Express buses to reach Bristol Temple Meads station. Buses run round the clock and depart every 10 minutes. The trip takes about 30 minutes.
There are multiple companies operating bus lines to destinations such as Weston-super-Mare, Cardiff, Newport, South Wales, Plymouth, Exeter, Bath and Bedminster. National Express buses connect Bristol with numerous other cities in England and Scotland (nationalexpress.com). These buses operate out of Bristol Bus Station in downtown Bristol, which is connected to the airport via the Airport Flyer Express.
There is a taxi stand outside the terminal. You can book the cars and minivans operated by licensed service Arrow Cars in advance on the airport’s website (bristolairport.com).
Short- and long-term parking is available. A free shuttle service takes passengers to and from the terminal. The buses run round the clock and depart every five to ten minutes. The bus ride from the Silver Zone parking lot to the terminal takes about five minutes. The passenger drop-off/pick-up zone is located right in front of the terminal.
