ATMs, banks and bureaux de change are available in all terminals.


Postal services are not available at the airport. Free Wi-Fi is available, but paid-for premium internet access is also offered throughout LAX. In addition, public telephones with internet data port access are positioned at various points within each terminal. Mobile phone hire services can be found in Arrivals at the TBI Terminal, while free electrical recharging stations for mobile phones and laptops are available throughout the airport.


There are numerous bars, cafés and restaurants at Los Angeles International Airport. These range from standard US and Mexican-style fast-food vendors to grill restaurants and sports bars.


There are many shops at Los Angeles International Airport, including newsagents, gift shops and bookshops. Duty-free shopping, for international passengers, can be found in Terminals 2 to 7 and in the TBI Terminal.


Luggage trolleys are available to use in the baggage reclaim areas and outside the terminals. There are currently no electronic baggage lockers at Los Angeles International Airport; passengers are advised to contact their airline to arrange baggage storage. Lost property is handed to the LAX Airport Police (tel: (424) 646 5678).


There is a first aid station in the TBI Terminal. AED units (defibrillators) are situated throughout Los Angeles International Airport.

Conference & Business

Notary services are available at the ICE Currency Exchange booth on the departures level of the TBI Terminal. Fax and photocopying are provided by an additional ICE Currency Exchange booth on the arrivals level of the same terminal.

There is a boardroom (tel: (310) 342 4476) in Terminal 3, provided by Alaska Airlines and two US Airways conference rooms (tel: (310) 348 7914) in Terminal 1.

Travelers Aid booths are located on the lower level (Arrivals) of each terminal, near baggage reclaim – these also provide information and assistance for disabled passengers. Los Angeles International Airport has a 24-hour recorded information line (tel: (310) 646 5252).

Transfer between Terminals

A free shuttle bus serves each terminal and the perimeter car park C. Another operates 24/7 between the various terminals, while a third service transports qualifying passengers to the nearby Metro rail station.

    Facilities for the disabled include ramps and lifts, adapted toilets and wheelchair-accessible restaurants in all terminals. Each airport car park has plenty of disabled spaces and lift-equipped shuttle buses run between car parks B and C and the terminals.

    Wheelchairs can be requested from individual airlines; disabled passengers are advised to inform their airline of their requirements in advance. A TDD line (tel: (310) 417 0439) provides information for the hearing-impaired.
