How to get there
Driving Directions
Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport is directly served from central Beirut by the southbound airport highway known as Hafez El Asad.
Bus
There is no official bus service directly to and from the airport; however some LCC (tel: (05) 810 510; www.lccworld.com) services stop at the airport roundabout, approximately 1km (0.6 miles) from the terminal.
Shuttle
Unofficial shared-ride minibuses, known as service taxis, operate to and from the airport to various city destinations upon request. These minibuses depart once they are full.
Taxi
Official airport taxis, recognisable by the airport logo on their sides, offer controlled price transfers to the city centre from outside Arrivals. Other taxis are available, but it is necessary to haggle with the drivers over the fare. The journey time into the city is approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Car Parking
Long and short-term parking is currently available for 2,350 vehicles. Access from the terminal building to the car parks is via a pedestrian tunnel.
