How to get there
From Barcelona city centre, take the Barcelona ring road and turn off at the Barcelona-Castelldefels C-31 motorway (which also connects with the Barcelona-Sitges C-32 motorway). From here, turn off at exit 192 to join the airport access road.
The RENFE (tel: 902 320 320; www.renfe.com) R2 suburban train links Barcelona Airport with the city centre, Estació de Franςa and intermediate stops (journey time: around 30-45 minutes; fare: €3.80). The airport railway station is linked to Terminal 2 by a walkway. Free shuttle buses run from Terminal 1 to this station.
The Aerobús (tel: 90 210 0104; www.aerobusbcn.com) service to Plaça de Catalunya departs from in front of the terminals (journey time: 35 minutes; fare: €5.90). Tickets are purchased on board.
Local AMB (tel: 010; www.tmb.cat) buses 46, L77 and N17 depart from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 (concourse B and C), and terminate in various central Barcelona destinations (journey time: 45 minutes; fare: €5.90). There is also a night bus operating at 20-minute intervals from 2200 to 0500.
Taxi ranks are located outside the terminals (journey time: 25-35 minutes; fare: from €20). For more information, call: 93 223 5151.
There are numerous public car parks with capacity for around 20,000 cars at Barcelona Airport. Short-stay parking areas are located directly in front of each terminal – the PA and PC car parks are directly connected to Terminal 2 via air-bridges. The long-stay car park is a short distance from both terminals and is linked via a shuttle bus service. A VIP parking service (tel: 93 297 1381), which involves a secured parking area and collection outside the terminals, is also available.
